Patricia Faulkner is Chair of the National Health Performance Authority, Chair of the Board of Jesuit Social Services and Chair of the Board of Superpartners – a superannuation administration company. Ms Faulkner is also Deputy Chair of St Vincent’s Health Australia, Chair of the Federal Government’s Health and Hospitals Infrastructure Fund and a Member of the Commonwealth Grants Commission. She is a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Advisory Council to the NAB and a Member of the Melbourne Racing Committee.
Ms Faulkner was previously a Partner and Global Leader for Healthcare at KPMG and prior to that Secretary of the Victorian Department of Human Services.
Her main interests lie in structure of Government, regulation and governance, especially in the health and welfare sectors.
Ms Faulkner holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Diploma of Education from Melbourne University and Master of Administration from Monash University. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration (Australia) and a Fellow of the College of Health Service Executives. She was awarded an Order of Australia in 2008 for Service to the fields of Health and Social Policy.
